Jeffrey Mull is a twenty-three year old California native who has been living in Mexico since May. There was a time not so long ago when he earned his keep as a bartender in the mission district of San Francisco at the bar and restaurant Dear Mom. After college he made his way down to Mexico City with little more reasoning than a desire to travel and a love of Latin American literature. He enjoys writing fiction, reading poetry, names that are palindromes, and educational chalk drawings on the sidewalk. He drinks whiskey and his hair has at times been described as “wacky.”
Juliet Lambert is the owner of Spice Catering, but slings hash for Spice Everywhere in her spare time. A native of Santa Barbara, California, she grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where she learned how to pitch a tent, light a fire in the rain and which mushrooms are poisonous. She loves anything that gives her the feeling of flight: scuba diving, parachuting, roller coasters or a good mezcal. Obviously really in to spices, her current favorites are Szechuan peppercorns and cardamom.
